Justin Oland, Partner

Justin Oland is a second-generation public adjuster. He has extensive experience with mid to large residential and commercial claims. Justin has successfully assisted residential clients with various degrees of damage and size ranging from pinhole pipe leaks to fully involved fire losses within single and multi-family homes, penthouse co-ops, condominiums and vacation beach homes. In addition to residential, he also brings an expertise to a variety of commercial claims in industries such as hospitality, restaurant and bar, major food distribution, builders’ risk, medical/dental and retail stores.

Justin carries public adjusting licenses in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Justin currently resides in Commack, NY with his wife Meryl and 2 sons Jake and Zachary. He is a Board Member of Commack North Little League and is very active within the amateur baseball community coaching several baseball teams.

Mr. Oland is a member of the Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG) and was nominated in 2015 as a “Top 40 under Forty” Stony Brook University Graduate.

Michael Oland, Partner

Michael Oland has 45 years of public adjusting experience. He has an extensive background in loss preparation and adjustment for both complex commercial and large homeowner losses. Michael has represented clients within numerous industries such as; construction, education, health, hospitality, manufacturing, non-profits, real estate, retail, transportation and warehousing with claims caused by fire, wind, water, flood, collapse, burglary, and vandalism damage.

Michael has handled claims throughout the United States, Mexico, Jamaica, and the Caribbean during catastrophic events. Prior to opening Oland Property Loss Consultants Ltd, Michael owned and operated another public adjusting and contents appraisal firm.

Michael currently resides in Plainview, NY with his wife Paulette of 43 years. He has 2 married children Justin and Jodi and enjoys spending time with his 5 grandchildren. Michael attended Long Island University and graduated with of Bachelor of Science in 1972. He is a Lifetime Member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation in Browns Mills, New Jersey.

Matthew Dickson, Partner

Matthew Dickson has more than eighteen years of property loss experience in the insurance industry he has been involved in the settlement of claims totaling more than $2,000,000,000. Matthew began in 2001 as a forensic accountant working for insurance carriers and immediately went to work on some of the largest claims in U.S. history arising out of the terrorist attacks of 9/11, including the MTA and Goldman Sachs claims.

Matthew’s work included leading teams which completely handled all aspects of multiple losses in excess of $25MM for a national agribusiness company after the Mississippi flooding of 2010 and for a national entertainment company after significant damage to one of its venues as a result of Superstorm Sandy.

Matthew’s diverse experience in the handling of all aspects of property losses including emergency mitigation services, building damage, personal property damage, business income, and extra expense has made him an extremely well rounded public adjuster and a significant resource for the clients of Oland Property Loss Consultants.

Education: Degree in Accounting from Boston College

Gina Farese, Public Adjuster

Gina Farese is a New York State licensed Public Adjuster.  Gina’s expertise is in roofing and exterior building encompassing all types of commercial and residential properties. She has over a decade of experience in the insurance loss industry.  Her extensive professional knowledge in these key areas are a tremendous asset for our clients to ensure a proper settlement.  Having years of experience in the construction industry, Gina is able to utilize her knowledge to ensure a loss is paid appropriately so her clients can rebuild to pre-loss conditions.  She has been asked on many accounts to assist legal counsel with expert testimonies in order to help settle a loss.

Gina is a member of the Long Island Builders Institute, holds many certifications in the construction industry, and is a wealth of knowledge in the construction and insurance industry.

Gina currently resides in West Islip, NY with her husband Anthony and her two daughters, Gabriella and Julianna.  She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Sacred Heart University.
